Nylo: Boutique and budget hotel in Plano

Took a quick tour of Nylo, the newest boutique hotel up north. Construction workers and employees are buzzing about working hard to get the hotel in perfect shape by tomorrow's official opening.

The chic new chain is helmed by Michael Mueller, veteran of Starwood Hotels (where he helped launch the W chain). Interiors are designed by Stephane Dupoux, whose past projects include award-winning nightspots in Europe, Miami and New York, most notably Buddha Bar and Cielo.

It's a design-minded hotel without the driven up prices -- rooms range from $110 for a single and go up to $170 for a suite per night.
